contemporary music and to support the exploration of new methods in
arts education

Sound presents
concerts by premier artists in the world of creative music. In
addition, Nameless Sound artists work directly with students from
Houston’s public schools, community centers, and homeless shelters.
Nameless Sound’s educational work helps to nurture a new generation of
artists and inspire tomorrow’s creative thinkers.

like you. An organization like no other in the nation, Nameless Sound
relies on its own network of supporters to ensure that its unique and
innovative programs continue. Our community of friends allows us to
continue this vital work, in spite of the currents of the economy.

Like
all small organizations, Nameless Sound continues to grapple with the
diminishing resources available from granting bodies. Nameless Sound
survives due to the commitment of its Board and community, the
dedication and passion of its staff, and the generous support of some
key foundations. Though we have the confidence of our funders, grant
funds for our education program have been severely cut. Without a
strong show of support from our members, there will be adjustments to
our programs--- fewer concerts and few classes/ opportunities for
Houston’s youth.
